“Jesus Alone Grows His Church!”

Jesus had sent the disciples out to be fishers of men, and now, when they go out to fish, Jesus

teaches them what that will mean. They had fished all night, and their efforts had produced

nothing. But when Jesus tells them to throw the net on the other side of the boat, they land

such a large catch that they can’t even pull them all in. They catch nothing apart from Jesus.

When Jesus sends out pastors to be fishers of men, it will not be their own skill or cleverness

or power that will catch men. It will be Jesus alone who will fill their nets.
