Reformation

If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Reformation was about many things, but at its core, it was (and still is)

about the freedom of the Gospel. It is certainly true that the law convicts us

of our sins, for “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”, but it is

also true that we “have been justified freely by His grace.” Or as Jesus puts it,

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Free from guilt of our sin.

Free from the judgment that we deserve. Free in Christ. This is what the

Reformation is about.
