Missions support

Those ministries which are supported by Glory of Christ through her offerings of time, money, prayer and hard work.

  • The Mexico Mission is our title for a cluster of various projects and missionaries in support of the Lutheran Synod of Mexico.  For many years now, the Lutheran Synod of Mexico has been in great need of pastoral training, with which we have been assisting since 2014.  We primarily support conferences and the pastoral educator: Pastor Daniel Conrad.  The very first pastors in nearly two decades have completed their training and are serving congregations.  More students are on their way.  Continue to pray for these men and support this much-needed work with our partner synod to the south.

  • The Minnesota South District is one of 35 districts within the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  It includes nearly 250 congregations and over 100 schools.  The district provides governance, training, church worker support and supports various missions in Minnesota and beyond. Our current president is Dr. Rev. Lucas Woodford.

  • University Lutheran Chapel provides ministry to the students at the University of Minnesota.  Their's is a Biblical, Confessional, Liturgical ministry much like that of Glory of Christ.
  • LCMS World Relief and Human Care is the mercy arm of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and provides personnel and financial help to distressed people throughout the world – from earthquake survivors in Haiti to Tsunami victims in Southeast Asia, from flood drenched churches Louisiana to tornado victims in the Midwest – the work of mercy paves ways for the good news of Christ also to be shared.

  • Issues Etc. is a radio talk show which uses the airwaves to provide provocative discussions on timely theology issues always making certain that the gospel of Christ is spoken clearly to an ever increasing audience.
  • Pastor Tyler McMillerPastor McMiller is the sole LCMS pastor in Italy, where he provides spiritual care for a number of Italians who discovered Lutheranism online and want to learn more. Tyler also mentors four Italian men who are studying to become pastors through an online Lutheran seminary based in Riga, Latvia, and he provides Word and Sacrament ministry to small groups of Lutherans scattered throughout Greece and Bulgaria. Through this work, Tyler’s goal is to help geographically isolated believers establish house churches wherever they live.
