Pastor

 Rev. Klemet Preus Klemet Preus, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His formative years were spent in St. Louis, MO where he attended Lutheran and public schools. Pastor Preus was fortunate to have lived in both Norway and France each for a year before graduating from Concordia College in Ft. Wayne Indiana and Concordia Theological Seminary in Springfield Illinois. He did further graduate work in rhetoric and speech at the University of North Dakota.

Preus, a pastor of 28 years, served as a mission planter in Ypsilanti, Michigan, a campus pastor at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and a parish pastor in Woodland, California and in Danville, California. He has served as Pastor of Glory of Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Minnesota since 1999.

Klemet Preus has served the church as a member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota South District of the LCMS. And he has served as the president of Higher Things, a Lutheran youth organization which sponsors conferences and publishes a magazine of the same name. He has written theological articles on a variety of subjects, edited a book of his father’s sermons entitled: Preaching to Young Theologians, and is the author of a recently published book entitled The Fire and the Staff published by Concordia Publishing House and is a discussion of the relationship between doctrine and practice in the church.

The father of four children, Pastor Preus lives in Plymouth Minnesota with his wife Janet.
