The Board of Elders helps the Pastor in the spiritual care of the members of the congregation. The Elders supervise the worship service and assist the pastor in giving Holy Communion. They also watch over the doctrine of the pastor and help him recruit and appoint the teachers in the church. Elders are an extremely important part of the congregation's work. In addition to the main duties and responsibilities of the Board of Elders, there are also special events that the Elders are called upon to participate in. During Lent, the Elders prepare and serve one of the Wednesday evening Lenten dinners. On Easter Sunday, the Elders also prepare and serve a pancake breakfast between services.

Recently, the Elders, in conjunction with the Pastor, instituted the practice of serving Holy Communion at every service. Previously, Holy Communion was served on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays. The Elders also recently drafted and approved a policy concerning how Church mission funds are distributed. The Board of Elders meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the church. Current members include Adam Breininger, Jerald Dulas, Lee Hart, Bud Hitchcock, Dave Koosman, Matt Knea, Garry McCreary and Mark Swenson.
